Hey Guys,
I blew my back out yesterday and judging how I feel today I will probably not be able to dive next week to collect fish for a presentation I am doing on fish and illustrating them on Thursday the 3rd of May.

At the hope of avoiding the fish market, I am looking for someone who is already planning on fishing that would consider donating a couple rockfish, perch, maybe a lingcod/greenling or if not to much trouble, wahoo, tuna, salmon, wsb, swordfish will probably do.   :smt003

The fish will not be wasted. I'll do the dissection, fillet them out and put them on ice at the same time.

My email is ono(at)abachar(dot)com if you can help. There's a print of your choice in it for you.

Thanks,
Amadeo

Amadeo,

I plan on diving on Tuesday and would be happy to donate anything I manage to shoot for your presentation...

I live in Watsonville right off the HWY....

I will send you a PM once I am done on Tuesday to see if you still need anything and to let you know what I was able to get.

 :smt006

Sincerely,

Jim

Thanks Jim,
That would be great.  I live in La Selva and I'll be at CSUMB Monday, Wednesday and Thursday next week, so I could stop by on the way down or up.

Feel free to shoot another 22lb lingcod.   :smt003

The more variation I have the better.  Anyone else?

Amadeo

There's gonna be quite a crew out on Tuesday I think...I'll see what I can rustle up from the group to give you as much variety as possible...while not exceeding what I am allowed to have in possession of course.  :smt003

Conditions are not meant to be ideal, but will do my best!

Jim

Dumb questions I'm sure, but I'm assuming you would want fish whole, not gutted or scaled right?

Cabs and Monkeys desired as well?

How many rockies you want? If I manage to get 10 do you want all 10 or just 3 or 4 or ?

Just so I know what to not clean/eat etc...  :smt003

Not at all.  Whole would be best.  Rockies of different varieties.  B&Y, kelpie, olive, blue, gopher, red would give a nice variation. Perch would be great. Monkeyface would be cool too.  Cab would be awesome!!

How're you doing?  I just tweaked my back trying to lift some potted trees at Costco.  Toughest part about it is trying to reach back to wipe my ass, sure wish I had a bidet.

Bidet!  :smt005  I'm in the middle of "teaching" my class (work in class day) and you made me laugh out loud or lol as the kids say.

I'm getting better.  Still hobbled but what a doozy.  Go get an adjustment dingle-berry.
