Haha, thanks guys!  So the flat lens is pretty necessary huh?  Well, good thing I have a 20% off coupon for REI...  Also, I found a mounting for your mask that might be kinda cool;

Flat lens make a huge difference in clarity. The one from Mako is only $20.

That's a cool way to mount it on the mask!! My only concern would be when I shove my head in holes the camera gets hit a lot, and with that set up it may pull the mask as well?

Would be cool to try though!!

if your only planing to use the gopro for diving then you might think of going with the liquid image mask. i love the liquid image mask because it's low profile and i can stick my head in hole with out getting caught on anything. only down side is you can only use it for diving(unless you want to run around with a dive mask on)  :smt044. i got mines from dan silvia a while back when he got a the new wide angle version from them. so i got his old one for $50 so i can't complain. if you do go with the mask then i would think the wide angle one would be a better option.
as for my gopro, i love that thing! i use it for almost everything besides diving....

heres a link to the mask i have.
