Ha ha....OK..

Too many boats lied up for the launch ramp at 5am Sunday, so I went home and back to bed.  Monday at 5:30am, the line was non-exxistent.

Frank and I went out to the top of the Soquel Hole West side 49/41and dropped hoochies and flashers in300 FOW, 50 feet down.  3 mnutes later we had the 1st fish on board.  then we got too deep, more the middle of the hole.  Back up on the West shelf we reumed getting sporadic hits.

I think we had 3  hits no hookup, 2 hookups tha tcame unbuttoned, and one more fish to the net.

Sat and Sun were way more productive, Monday and Tuesday (today) they say the bite "slowed."

I'll try to get out later this week for more research.

That one fish was kinda big, maybe 15 pounds.  It didn't feel so big till i got it close to the boat, saw a silver flash, and then it took off drag screaming.  Pretty cool!

Best thing is, these fish are crazy krill eaters, unbelieveable red meat and sooooooo delicious!
