I fished Steinaker Reservoir in Northeastern Utah while playing hooky from work monday. A friend told me he had caught a big brown trout so it was time to yakfish. I used my new trolling milk crate. Got an early start trolling Rapalas and crankbaits. Enjoyed a nutritious breakfast of champions to the sunrise. Took an hour for the first rainbow bite. Nice fish a little over a pound. Managed 7 bows for the next 2 hours. Was just about to switch to bass when, guess whose coming to dinner. Sweet. These browns feed heavily on crayfish and have red meat. They are delicious. Was heading to the truck to ice my meal and bam, a bigger brown. Some days life is just good. Let the bigger brown go for karma points. Ran into Polygamist Al in the parking lot. He was on his way to work and was very jealous. The first brown was released into olive oil and s&p. I know, too many pics. See you all at GS6.  :smt006

So I'm packing my bags for the Misty Mountains, where the spirits go...........
