i know its last minute but I'm going to launch at the rio boat launch around 10 they have been catching  sturgeon right around the bridge company is always welcome.

i was just wonderin if you launch your yak out of the boat launch wont it scratch up the bottom of your yak.just asking i havnt taken my yak out
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

If you use wheels, you just run the kayak and wheels into the water and just slide the kayak off on the water.  The Wheels float so you just grab them and stash em.  When you return, don't slide into the launch and grind the bottom.  Stop short and either go in sideways or just get out in the knee high water and lift your kayak up on the ramp, slide your wheels under and walk up.  Lots of places have sandy sides as well which works if you don't want to get in the water.

i dont worry to much about the little scratches anymore but i got some i guess its called keel guard from dan at headwaters kayak in lodi (paddleboy84)
