Hello loose screws. Never been clammin' before.
Some of you told me that if I don't have any equipment that I could hold my breath and you could hold my feet while I dig, dig, dig.
Well I've been practicing and I can make this trip.
Looking foward to a great time.

Well...if you got long arms then no need to "dive" in the tube  :smt005

Hey guys I have ten rockfish carcases ppl can use for crab bait if they want. Is any one bringing a fryer or chowder base? Fiver and I are going to hit lawsons landing monday morning at 530 am so that we can go ab diving on the point and still catch the clamming action. This is an exploration trip so we have no clue what to expect on the other side of the point and with such a low tide it might be even rockpicker friendly. We will launch by 6 am paddle 15 mi across the bay and hike over the hill to do a shore based dive for abs and any rockfish we can find. Also Im hoping to car camp and clam the next day on tuesday does any one have room in there camp for a subaru out back to park in?

I really want to be there with you guys on Monday with the family but don't know if I can swing it our not with work. The weather is also playing a factor as well.

BTW where do you get those tubes from? Is there a fishing supply store that carries those elongated bottomless buckets?

Thanks,

Antonio

The big white tube we bought it from a farming/irrigation supply up North (I'll check my old post for address if you want).  We bought a 20ft long and they cut it for us without charge.  The smaller blue tubes you see in the pictures are gifts from Fred/Islandyak.  You can buy at the store at Lawson's but it's smaller in diameter.
