Was thinking of landing at ether of these spots and hiking over. These are the direction I got from a lawsons employee who also said there are some good abs on the other side of the point.

Funny, I was just mapping out both of those spots.  Less than 1/2 mile hike to the other side.

Hey Sonny, you know something we don't?  I kinda eyeballed it and it didn't look like the hike was THAT bad!

Well guess I'm getting old  :smt003  1/2 mile walk with the weight belt on is a long walk for me + the weight of the Abs on the way back  :smt005

Damn!  3 pages of posts on a hook-up.  I guess it's really time to go clamming/crabbing/ab'ing.

I wonder if its worth leaving some traps out at Doran and then go back later, or just crab at Lawsons.

Glen,   Have you registered for GS-6?  The "Screws" look incomplete on the registration list.  Lapu Lapu too?

Monday is looking like a defiant maybe. Will now as things get a little closer. I'm doing a bunch of family stuff with the inlaws the weekend before, so the WAF account should be in the positive.

Dan,  I'm guessing that's a definite maybe vs a defiant maybe.  Look forward to seeing you there.

I'm sending my registration today.  Sure don't want to miss that.  But, it's been one hell of a year so far for planning anything.  Had to cancel on several planned trips now due to my wife's health.  But everything is getting better now and I think we will be able to join GS6.

Vwool crabbing at the dock and in the bay can produce pretty nice sized reds and this jan i pulled 7.5 and a 7 in dungies from the landings pier using the clams scraps from a previous trip!
