Hey Guys- Chris from Liquid Adventures here.

I’m putting together a 2.5 day mothership kayak fishing trip the first week in June. We’ll be fishing aboard the Crackerjack Voyager with Capt. Andy Mezrow. He is THE captain to fish with in South Central Alaska. We will meet in Seward the evening of June 6th and most likely depart the dock at 10pm. We’ll be headed to Prince William Sound and fishing near Montague Island. This is big fish water and we will be targeting monster Halibut, King Salmon and Rockfish. We have been talking about this option for a while and I'm confident that we will kill it. The trip will be limited to 6 anglers and there will be a writer on board from a national magazine.

$850.00 per angler, $950 with two nights lodging in Seward on either end of the trip. Lot’s of fishing, paddling and endless adventure possibilities before or after the trip for those that want to extend their stay.

Contact me for more information.

Here’s a link to my site. http://www.liquid-adventures.com/
And a link to the charter. http://www.crackerjackcharters.com/

Are kayaks provided on this trip? What gear do we need to bring?

My Dad and some buddies and I went fishing last June with Capt. Andy on the Crackerjack Voyager.

Top notch captain, crew, boat and gear, and I would go again in a heart beat.

Throw kayaks in the mix and I am getting a fish boner here at work!

Here is the vid from when we were out there:

If I had the $$ and time I would be signing up right now!

Looking forward to the pics and report!

Sincerely,

Jim

Having fished with Chris a few times, I can highly recommend him.

Lings are not open for retention in June.

Looks like a blast and a good price too, but with our north coast salmon season predictions I can catch everything they got there here.  I would like to paddle among the glaciers and see some whale action too though.

I'm stoked on all the positive feedback so far on the trip. It will be EPIC w/ a true shot for a Halibut over 100lbs. (but be careful what u ask for)

Kayaks and food will be provided and included in the trip cost. I am an Ocean Kayak Pro Staffer so you will be fishing in either a OK Prowler or Trident model. I have a very limited amount of rods for loaners but I suggest you bring your favorite sticks. I'll check with Capt. Andy to see if he will offer up his boat gear for us to use. You will need waders and/or a drysuit and good synthetic cold weather gear. I want everyone to bring a hand held marine radio and like any kayak travel trip I would pack my own seat and PFD for comfort.

Keep the questions coming, I got answers.

OK. Who is in so far?

I can swing it, but it's going to depend on who else is going...

Sounds like a great trip, but I just started a new job. I already had to ask for Albion and GMS6 off and they weren't thrilled with that. Hope there is another trip next year. Price sure sounds great too!

I might be able to make it but I'm not sure on what's the cost?  Is it $850 per angler + $950 for the stay = $1800?

I read that as $850 per angler and if you wanted two more nights it's $950. If I misinterpreted that, then I'm out...lol.

Gonna check out some flight prices just for the hell of it.
