This is terrific,,,    Thanks  to all of you ! :smt006 :smt006 :smt006

I've attended this fundraiser about three times now.    The raffle and donated prizes are nice, but  it's also a lot of fun getting involved in the sail races.    Any spouses or teens  that might be interested are welcome ?    Even if you have absolutely no experience sailing whatsoever,  they will find a spot crewing aboard one of the many boats that go out.    Bodies are always needed,  if nothing else than for ballast weight sitting on the rail.   Beer optional, but a six'r of   IPA or a Pilsner  will insure you don't get  tossed overboard   :smt001     The SCYC members are great hosts to this event and should be commended for graciously sponsoring this each year,  as are all of us who contribute by attending.

Oh great,,,  Thanks for bring that to my attention.   It's always been on Labor Day weekend.
It was a phone conversation that led me to believe it was Memorial.    There's a meeting waiting to happen between BBBS and the Santa Cruz Yacht club about this.  Still waiting to hear from Marie about the results.   She did say Memorial  weekend and  they just have not updated the site  yet.    We should have more info in a few days.
Sorry for the confusion.

Any info yet on whether this tourny will be held on Labor Day or Memorial Day? (Trying to get all of this year's tournys on my calander.)

It'd be a nice bonus,  but it's  the biggest Halibut that wins

Largest halibut will win this new model  Raptor ST  ( and bragging rights  :smt001 )

Length or weight or does it matter?

Interested!

Good question,,,       Let's go with length.   Seems like that's easier to measure.
