I have it on a toggle. there isn't much room to get it in the fs10 I drilled out the drain plug and ran the hose out of it I had to cut the mesh off the pump and it was still a snug fit. But when it has water it shoots out 5 feet

you'll need a larger or dedicated battery. I would hate to have all my eggs in the electronic model and have it fail. Of course most would also have a hand pump. I suppose the belt and suspenders approach is sound in theory. But in practice after the added cost and weight I think most just keep a hand pump on board. I think in this case less (simpler) is more. oh and don't go out alone.

Glenn is just a pimpin' freak!!!! He HAS to pimp!  :smt044

They have an auto sensing one that runs on its own batteries i was lookin at instead of the float. Woulda wanna drain my battery with a ff then need it an not have the power. I wanna pimp my yak out but its prolly not worth it since its a cheaper br and once i get an OK ima pimp it for sure hahjust thinkin safety now

yeah I'd save the money for "other" stuff and just stick to the hand pump....god knows you can spend a ton on this little "hobby"

only hull access i have is in the front hatch so itd be hard to do anything that wasnt already in there think im just gonna but a bilge pump with a small enough hose to stick into my drain plug an just leave it on the outside or id have to rig up some kinda large center hatch an i dunno how i feel about cutting into a yak with no experience.

One thing my OB doesn't have is a bildge.  Don't even have a hand pump.  I do have a nice small 12vdc powered water pump I could use for a bildge pump.  One more thing to add to the "list" of things to do.
