I for one usually refrain from drinking OTW, and limit myself to the after festivities.
Never cared much for beer

bottom line is: Drink responsibly

I think we're ok.  But one could be arrested for drunk in public, I imagine, if they were making a scene.

NCKA events are a scene

Just don't drink too much or yak anglers will do stuff to you.

Kyle (Hallsworth) thanks for sharing that great Sierra Nevada with me on Monte!  Having dealt with drunken boaters and lousy Law Enforcement on the Delta, I think it best to limit yourself on your yak.  Needless to say, there will be a large bottle of Crown on my table at CL for those who want a shot after yakking all day!

Its an interesting question. I called the Sonoma County Sheriffs Dept, who also has boats on Lake Sonoma, and I was told that yes indeed you would be cited and arrested for being drunk on a watercraft. The deputy was very adamant about it. Then I suppose the real question is, how drunk is drunk for you?

All kidding aside, I think it's fine to have a beer or two otw. Just don't over do it. And that pic of Andy is epic!
