Hey Guys,

I know this topic has came up before, but I'd like to revisit it. So I've got a bunch of cool stuff I'm either selling for cheap or giving away for free. Lots of interest, but no one has come through due to the distance.  I also see lots of goodies posted by other bros that I'd love to get, but typically am too busy or too far away for it to be feasible.  Come April, I'm going to try my best to occupy my free weekend days diving/clamming/spearing if possible, but this month there isn't a whole lot going on.  I was thinking of a couple options:

1) find a central location to do a swap meet/bbq potluck kinda meet or
2) Meet up at Doran, drop crab  pots in the morning, swap meet/chill/potluck after, then pull pots and head home.

Perhaps list items that you plan on bringing ahead of time?  Well, if you guys are interested, I'd love to make this happen.  Anyone down?

We are doing one at the Berryessa Slam. I just think we do one everytime we have an event.

+1 Blanket @ the events....
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

I agree, there should be trades at every meet up, but usually when I go to a meet to go fishing, I want to be out on the water!

I figured if it were at Doran, what else do you have to do while waiting for crabs to file into your pots?

Post a date :smt003 I'll bring my plate :smt005 :smt005

I hope its a plate full of something yummy!  :smt003  If there is enough interest, we can take a poll for the date the most of us can make it.  Best days for me are  the 17/18th, or the 31st.  24th/25th is iffy for me.

Too far from the Metro Bay Area.  Its 100 mile one way trip for me.  Too spendy on gas.

I'm open to doing something closer to home, but remember, home is relative depending on where you live ( which is probably why swap meets haven't gone over well in the past)  If we can get enough interest wherever it may be, we can make something happen!

I have a bunch of fishing related stuff needing new owners as well. I can host a sale in the parking lot of my Pleasanton shop if there is enough interest.
