After seeing Chucks new ride and how jazzed he always is about his Adventure Island :smt007, I decided to start saving for mine. Well after a year and some mounts of heavy duty saving, I went and picked up my new 2012 Adventure Island in Dune this weekend at Sunrise Mountain. Yes I have gone over to the SUPPER DARK SIDE. I did the maiden voyage at San Pablo Res. on Sunday I manage to sail to the dam and back, kind of slow not much wind that day, witch was probably good so I could get acquainted with her, I peddled more then sailed. I was surprised it peddles quite nicely.  The last time I sailed was when I was ten or twelve a long time ago but the AI is quite forgiving and easy to rig and sail, it was like learning to ride a bike again can’t wait to take her out again. As far as rigging, going to try to keep it simple and keep the drilling to a minimum. Looking forward to some sailing fishing with the AI group :smt006.

Thanks just finished the trailer couple of week before picking up my Adventure Islander. The trailer will carry four kayaks or two kayaks and one Islander or two Islander, its a lot easier to launch and lowed then on top of my truck.

James it did not come easy :smt009 I worked out a deal with my wife, that all the over time I earned, I put into a kayak fund, I worked more over time in the last year and a half then I have in the past twenty years :smt044. The Revo is my wife's and I gave my Trident to my son, and the trailer I built my self I think I got about 400 in it but it works great. Hope to see you on the water soon go luck on your kayak search :smt006.

Went out for a another trip to get a little sailing practice and fishing with the new kayak be for I hit the bay, so I thought I would go to Del-Valle you know it  always windy there right........ right :smt013. But forgot my fishing licence so thought I would just go out for a sail instead, well maybe next time :smt003.
