Finally, finally, finally have my pass from the war department.  Great report on kings at centimundi has me planning to take advantage.  Plan to be on the water about 7 and fish until 3 or so, company always welcome.

Just saw this hookup, copied this post.
Hey Ben, I don't usually fish on weekends but I will make an exception for friends and burn some WAF points  , almost went to Centimudi today to try for the Salmon but the WX window was to short to try, and I still need some new tackle   :smt003

Good deal Tim, weather looks nice so it should be a great day.  I have a new seat, new rod/reel combos, and a pile of new tackle to bloody up.  Will be picking up my 2nd rod stamp this week, plan to mooch a chovie on one rod and jig the gulp minnow (ala Clayman-style) on the other.

I like your thinking, time to gear up. Any other slayers want to jump in ?

I'm in unless the wx is nasty. Forecast looks good; however, the wind right now out here is blowing hard. I should have a new combo rigged up by then and want to hear it scream.  :smt001

Sounds good Dave, we'll keep an eye on the weather...was nice to finally get a good storm to clean the pollen off the deck!

A2TH, the salmon bite is mostly a mooching affair...find a baitball, drop down an anchovie tail, and crack a cold beer.  Going to try to mix it up a bit this year w/ some jigging.

Love the cool colors of your new rod/reel combos, as seen in your new avatar  :smt003 :smt002

May be able to join you guys for a while anyway :smt001
Wife is working 7-12 noon :smt002
If the winds are not rageing I'm in :smt004
Will you guys have enough chovies to float me some or should I buy a bag?
I was subbing at Central Valley HS today and on my prep period ran up to Centimudi between 10-11.
Air temp was cold/cloudy, water was FAC, only 2 PB trailers in the lot, and no one mooching the area.
Are they still around? I guess we will find out Sat. :smt002

I checked the forecast and it's looking too good to be true, 73 degrees, no wind.  That'll change, either way I'm going.  I'll pick up a fresh bag of chovies and spot you some.  Fish should still be around, and should be on the chew once this cold snap blows through.  Either way, a cold beer and a nice paddle sound great.
