Here is my suggestion regarding Clear Lake: somebody reserve campsite 61 on the water!!!  It would make for a fun Saturday night AND allow for NCKA to own the beach on tournament day!

Last year I had it reserved but was bumped for unknown reasons. :smt011   But maybe, since they know who we are now, they might be more willing to work with us.

Well, I'm in on ARW now. The wife excused me from my previous commitment. If the race car is terminal, I'll be at Clear Lake now too.

Thanks! Yakhopper for putting on this series. Saw last years schedule and would of loved to have been on Clearlake catching some bass. Then went as an observer to the Tiki event and it seemed like a great time and good people. After the Tiki event I got my yak and could not wait to get up to Clearlake to fish and now I have an excuse. Can't wait to meet more NCKA folks and get in some fishing to boot. Clearlake and Tiki here I come!

:shock: I know it will be fun!!

This morning, I got the newsletter via email from one of my favorite bass guide, Ross England. In his newsletter:

This winter has been the best winter of fishing on Clear Lake I personally have experienced, even during the best years!
For this winter, December, January, and February, and through today (and we have two weeks left) we have landed 106 fish of 4 pounds and above. By size:

Four Pounders - 52
Five Pounders - 31
Six Pounders - 11
Seven Pounders - 5
Eight Pounders - 1
Total = 106

I surely hope the water temp will reach around 60 degree before April 15th so it will be breeding season!!
