I notice variety of measuring devices are used on kayaks, but what stands out are those white tray style rulers that a lot of people seem to be using across their laps.  Not sure what the name of it is, but can't seem to find it anywhere.  I'm sure a couple diff brands exist out there, but if anyone can list a few, that would be great.  Thanks!

They are called Hawg Troughs, and you can buy one from places like Hook1, Cabelas, or if you look to the left of the screen, you can purchase them on this site!

Sorry, at the time the ad was there all the time, but not anymore.  You can pick these Hawg Troughs online at places like Hook1, BPS, etc.

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I bought my Plano 36" expandable fish trough from Outdoor Pro Shop in Oakland. It collapses down to 18", has a mounting hole, and floats!

Wish Plano would have make this board a light color with dark line indicator and numbers.

I took a sharpie to my board.  Much easier to read, especially in pictures.
