Hey Guys , I am on-board for sure. I will try to get off early on friday so i can camp fri nite. I can bring the man-kitchen and two yaks with paddles and pfds. As for the menu, I am open for suggestions. They have a massive wood fired grill also. Maybe breakfast burritos alongside some fresh-cut fruit and maybe some muffins and coffee. For lunch we could grill some chicken and serve it with some corn on the cob and beans and green salad. I am just shooting out ideas. It is also pretty easy to bust out large amounts of vegetable tempura and french fries in the big pan.

Sounds good Dan, I hope Frank was easy on ya...  :smt002

Hey Jack, All sounds good... I hope you can break early to get up there to enjoy Friday night...

Definitely want to get the Breakfast burritos going... Frank and  I are trying to get another type of org or organization to handle to lunch, but we may be a little late on our request for this...

at any rate, I would like to keep lunch simple as to get you out on the water and maybe pass lunch off to shore help...I know I always request a simple lunch,,,  but we are NCKA...

Victor and Dan are fired up about Kelsey. Any NCKA from the area that haven"t checked out these guys are missing out on a great source of Kayak gear and accessories. Great guys give them a visit.
We will also be posting about the Lodi connections that we made in the last couple of days. Another future epic H.O.W. event in the works.

Looks like a Scary Group!!!   :cowboy_smoke: :cowboy_cool: :cowboy_smoke:

Really Looking forward to this event...

Heard from the VA Palo Alto and Menlo Park...

Their bus holds 44 people, so that will include staff, so at least 40 vets from the VA...

Not sure what were getting from the Warrior Transition Unit and my hope is some will arrive with their kids the night before and camp like last time,,,

That was really cool...  Never forget Natalie running around with the troops kids...

 pretty cool stuff

Hey Don:  Last year the VA brought some food, drinks, etc.,  Are they bringing anything?

May I volunteer to take care of the food and coordinate with master chief kayakjack.  Between the two of us I think we can handle the diet needs of our troops.

Your post says 40+ vets,  so it's a good bet that we'll need food, drinks for 60.  What do you think?

Let me know if you want me to coordinate this for you.  I'll start a thread for kelsey ranch lunch.

More than that...  I'd say more like 80 +

the VA will be bringing drinks and snacks, but their budget is tight and only is for the vets...

I'm not sure if Frank has had any luck with other organizations helping with lunch and I'm checking into a few things too, and we will know soon if we have help...

If not, than it as usual as us getting it done and yes..

You may be the Man along side Executive Chef KayakJack....

we will coordinate all this soon...

Here Goes my Funky Spread sheet, but it works...

Chime in on what or who I'm missing here... I'm not sure what everyone can bring or if you have an extra yak...

I would say that is our biggest concern right now is extra yaks and I'm assuming any extra yak also has a PFD, if not please indicate that you do not have a PFD for your extra yak..

and as always... at the end of the show, it's a scrambled mess,,, so can not say this enough...

MARK YOUR GEAR!!!!    MARK YOUR GEAR!!!!!

I'm really look forward to the day we have a HOW fleet of Kayaks and HOW supplies, but for now were still trying to get there and really can't say enough about everyone giving of yourselves and your own gear...

One of the things that makes this so addicting to do is seeing everyone doing for others...

  Just Awesome....    :smt001

As you know I have 5 kayaks in my garage. Money is tight so Kat and I won't be able to make it, however if someone can pick them up and return them unharmed, then they are all yours.

I can round up at least a couple extra PFD's in the larger size if needed.

Do you have a way to accept donations?  PayPal account for example, for stuff like the food or other costs for this event?

More PFDs are alway great, especially larger size...  we sometimes need to modify PFD's with webbing as the wounded vets have different needs....

You are already donating so much with the gear, but if you want to do more, just keep tuned to the thread and watch what we post up as needs if any. You can also go to the HOW site to donate and comment it is for "HOW Nor Cal" or hit the donation box at the event...

Thanks again for your support and time,

Great to have ya aboard!!!   :smt006

Awesome Frank...

Just got ahold of one of the members of Kelsey Bass Ranch who help us last year and he is on board with his Bass Boat...

always good to have that support...

He also said that conditions are looking very good for us to have an EPIC day fishing wise...

lets just keep our fingers crossed on the weather...

 so far so good....  :smt004

I'm bringing thie motorhome down. I will bring my 2 tarpons, 1 Ride 135, 2 tandems, 1 smaller yak. I could use some extra seats again for the tandems. Paddles and PFD's I can bring too. I actually can bring several extra PFD's if you need me to.
