I had such a great time with my vets at Natomas, I'd like to help guide this trip too, so sign me up if you'll have me!
Let me know how many Warriors will be there.  I'm wanting to buy some tackle for those rod/reel combos Frank showed up with at Natomas.
I'll need to know soon in order to have them by the date.

Thanks shipro3!!!

were probably looking at somewhere around 50, do not worry about covering all those, just pick up what you are comfortable with. We will be getting more tackle, probably a big emphasis on Baby Brush Hogs in a Olive Green color...

We have to take into consideration of how easy our presentation is for the vets to use...

At kelsey,   These baits look good as being very snag proof, as there are a ton of weeds.

I'm also thinking we should be looking at Drop Shoting, That is how I have picked up most of the bass I caught there...

we also are permitted to use senkos and baby brush hogs in a olive green color work well

Thanks Again for Stepping up and here is the link to Kelsey Bass Ranch...

I can get 10 of these for 2 bucks(or quantities there-of; 50 for $10 for example).  Not the brush hog name, it's the Cabela's house name but sure looks like they are made by the same folks.  4" and 6" size.  (the baby brush hog is 4") That is the color as well.  Let me know if that'll do and I'll add them to my order.

I've caught most of my fish there on the large and small size like that. Texas rigged with no weight. 3/0 or 4/0 wide gap or straight shank hooks

Skipro3  I'm glad you're fired up about HOW and it will be good to have you at Kelsey.

Don:  I'll be bringing enough pipe insulation and velcro to to float our new poles.  We can
prepare these Friday night when we are BSing, er....talking HOW strategy.

Just a reminder to the new NCKA volunteers  that:

                               HOW EVENTS ARE NON ALCOHOLIC

Our focus is on the vets and their families.

Got more than enough to outfit 50 with the Baby Brush Hog, a Gamakatsu 4/0 EWG Worm Hook, and a 3/16 oz bullet weight.

200 BBH's
75 hooks
60 weights

This tackle, and a bit of knot tying will get you a Texas rig or a drop-shot.

Thank you guys for the opportunity to be part of this.

Wow....

  That is Huge!!!

  Thank you so much!!!

Going on our 3rd year at Kelsey and I think we have figured this to be the best and easiest set up for the vets to use and be successful...

Really takes the mystery out of how we are going to set up and being we are way behind the 8 ball on this one, I really appreciate you taking care of this important detail.

Thanks Again skipro3!!!   :smt006

Mr Kelsey has confirmed we are welcome for arrival on Friday anytime and as it was last time you could probably hang Saturday night too... not confirmed on that, but Mr. Kelsey is pretty easy going with us...

we will start compiling a list of what we need...

Firewood is one thing for a nice fire Friday night,  the troops kids dig this...

also need to start figuring how many extra yaks we are going to have...

were doing pretty good on fishing poles, I think we have somewhere around 40 HOW rods now..

still might need a few more...

Thanks bmb for the extra set ups, that was very nice of you    :smt006

still working on the food thing and waiting to talk to kayakjack..

Keep posted everyone as this one will be on us soon...
