Where were you thinking of going?  You can launch directly under the bridge on the benicia side it's closer to the Mothball fleet, or if you're headed to Ozol you can drive down west of the marina on the other side of the train station, park at the barricade and wheel your yak as far west as you want then drop it in and head to Ozol. Although if you're getting off at 330 this time of year both those options aren't gonna leave much fishing time.
I attached a map to the Ozol launch, you can actually walk farther than the line shows.

You can launch at the free public boat ramp on 9th St. in Benicia.  Paddle about 10 minutes to the green buoy to the right of the ramp.  My friend caught a 55" Sturgeon there last week.  Make sure you got at least 100' of anchor rope.  Anchor at the edge of the channel (about 40' deep) and cast toward the deep channel.

Click on the link for the only bait shop in Benicia.  The couple who own the store are Curtis and Pam and they usually open til 6pm.  Good lucks on the Sturgeon hunting.
