It should be nice and hot at the forebay this Sunday, current forecast looks like this:

Mostly sunny. Highs 85 to 93. Light winds becoming northwest up to 10 mph in the afternoon.

I am hoping the locals aren't going to overwhelm the place with jet skis. Also the forecast looks good for maybe trying the big lake? I have never fished there before but WON had some decent reports of fish right out in front of the Basalt launch.

haven't fished San Luis yet - I'd be up for that. I'd like to get some live bait though.

Good Luck!  I will be building a deck.  Enjoy the weather.

Sure - I'll call you.

I wonder if I can buy live bait and keep it alive until the the Mendo Derby? The shiners sold near the Forebay are really Big  :smt023

I could throw them in my fountian, dunno if I could get them out though.

I do have pumps and stuff so a cooler might work as well.
