Pretty creative. I'm sure I have those materials at home. Thanks for sharing.

I bought a similar suction cup a while back for thisvery application. Just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

I use a yoga mat and it does the same thing. My Adventure glides easily onto my Yakima rack. For windy days, I have some rope tied to it and the rack so it doesn't fly away.

I made similar ones after watching this video a couple years back. They work, but the suction cups messed up my hood (which was no big deal since my van is pretty beat up), and it cracked my windshield (originally had one tiny ding, but the weight accelerated the crack, which I ended up having to replace the windshield). However, if I'm by myself, this is the method I use to load and unload my kayak. Also, the PVC jig broke twice. THEY WILL BREAK, so now I have four of these in my car just in case they break again. I would definitely not use these on any car that I care about.

The suction cups in the video were originally a quad. He cut them in halves. You can get the double cups from Harbor Freights for around $10. Auto section.

Hey Ty.......dont use the leftover parts from that MyLil'Pony-YakWheels you had down at ARW that time.
I remember them well, it did not look pretty, but you made it work anyway :smt003

Already made one and ready to use, probably next few weeks at ARW.

Hey Adam, you still remember the  MyLil'Pony-YakWheels. It has been six years already since I started.
I sent them to the recycle bin and bought a Wheeleez Kayak Beach Cart.
Hope to see you all at ARW's halibut.
