Yep, I forgot about the trophy bonus!  Our team is in first place with 100 points!  Team NCKA TOO needs to do some serious catch up...

Just wait till we actually start fishing. I still can't post pictures from my own camera. Now I'm getting upset at this deal. It's just a Pentax WP that should be working. All settings are correct. I'm loading pictures off of the SD card. My cable connection does not work, never has. Could that be the problem?

I was able to upload from the SD card without problem.

I wrote email they say we not the only ones problem may be fixed by afternoon...

Do they care about slot limits on sturgeon? Or is it just a measurement?

They don't care about slot limits.  As long as the sturgeon is over 36inches it is worth 50 points. If the sturgeon is over 72inches, then it is worth 85 points.

I will write a report today or tomorrow, but here is the synopsis.

I had a 100lb+ fish eating my bait and I didn't even know it, no pump, tap or rub... nothing.  I went for a bait check (I always hookset on baitchecks) and my rod loaded up and started peeling line.  A second or so later the 6.5 foot fish jumped completely out of the water about 15 ft from me, then made a b-line toward a very snaggy area.  I managed to keep my line free from the hazards and landed the fish after about 45 min.  Rob helped me with measurements and photographs.  The fish was hooked with both hooks in the corner of the mouth.. I still can't believe I didn't feel or see the bite.

We only paddled 10-11 miles to fish there.

Each way, against the tide, and against a headwind. Big boat wakes too. 

Piece of cake. We caught one on a power boat the same way. It was on Dennis' rod. He was reading the Cunang Brothers book on sturgeon. I kept saying something small was nibbling his bait. he said F it. then he comes out , picks up the rod, it loads up, 70 inch fish. before slot limits. I just said " you have got to be fuckling kidding me." 20 miles of paddling against the wind both ways and against the tide both ways? Sounds like my Dads walk to school. Uphill both ways.

It was more than a three hour tour.
