*sold* in like 15 min.....4 kayak Aluminum trailer

Hello,

I'm trying to sell my aluminum 4 kayak trailer.  I have downsized the fleet from four yaks to one so it is time for the trailer to go.  My truck will haul one just fine.  This is a great lightweight trailer that has been very good to me.  $800.00 firm. See the link below.  I t was a pain to put together, so don't buy a new one, buy mine.  I'm located on Southern Montery County but travel up to the Salinas Valley daily.  It has the bearing buddies as well making packing your wheel bearings a breeze.  Ignore the kayaks in the photos, I sold those yesterday.

Yeap!  All went well!  Except that it was the scariest drive home i've ever had 

ROAD TRIP AL!

I imagine your road is scary and you have little experience with a trailer? 

One move that worked well for us in the past is called the pump fake. When changing lanes in the city in an attempt to get up to Petaluma to ride our horses  we developed this maneuver.  Identify what lane change you want to make, identify where EVERY car is and do a no turn signal dramatic move towards the lane you want to get into.  Don't make the lane change until you see the drivers freak out and leave room for you.  Then you put on your turn signal and make a smooth lane change.   Don't forget to wave.

Eh, people weren't the problem, but i've done that many times    Also fun is the fake hard break     It was just because that thing weighs very little, had no weight on it... and my god does Hwy 17 have a crap load of pot holes in the right hand lane (which I usually only use to pass  ) I also feel some of the vibrations under my floor board which just kept me looking in the rear view to see the trailer rattling over all the bumps.  EWB was right, just look behind you with a trailer, mirrors are evil.  In the end I think it will be easier for me to detach and wheel the thing into the garage by hand 

Never take an empty trailer down the 680 junction between cordelia and Martinez . I was trailer my aluminum boat and trailer without a motor and that had to be the scariest thing ever. I caught a windy day ( when isn't it) and it was a good thing it was very late because I look back and my boat is sideways dragging on the higghway!    Good thing no traffic  but flip it back on and take off again and it does it again! and again! Well needless to say I finally take to the back streets and then pray as I cross the bridge. Finally made it but with a couple of nice scrapes on the side of my boat! Just make sure you don't do the same thing with those kayaks, that wind is crazy around the bay area!

That is a great idea.  I'm also super impressed with the gaff.  I hope to stroke a halibut with it in the next month.
