Went to the local sports basement in Sunnyvale to look at some running gear. As I walked into the store there was sign that said "20% off everything" until it snows?   :smt007

This is the Best Deal that I found on a GoPro Hero 2. I pulled the trigger!
Store had the Camera for $275 vs. 300 retail. Knocked off another 20% = 55 dollars
Total $220 + Tax. Sweet Deal. I had to pass it along to NCKA. I can't believe this deal will hold
for too long. Luckily the display was hidden in the corner. - Keith

BTW, which one did you end up getting, the Outdoor or Surf edition?  I've got some learnin' and research to do!  Search function here I come.

I got the outdoor edition. I think it makes for sense for the kinda stuff we do as Kayakers.

Different attachments. Surf and motorsports versions don't come with a head strap. Not sure about the other two, but the motorsports includes the suction cup attachment for the car window.

On top of a 20% sale?  If so, I'm going back for a price adjustment.

I picked my Hero2 & a battery backpack for $281 and change, including tax.  Seemed like a good deal to me! :smt007

Also scored me a nice pair of soccer pants! :smt044

Bump.

Thought I'd bring attention back to this before the snows hit later this week and the sale ends. I picked up the Outdoor version for $238 out the door. BTW the AAA 10% discount can't be added to the 20% sale discount. (I tried)  :smt002 Still a great deal! Now I'm set for some awesome fishing and paintball videos. (Not at the same time, although that would kick ass!  :smt005

I was yesterday and it was a fing zoo.  Scored about a hundred bux worth of gear that was already on sale at pretty good prices, w 20% additional markdown it was killer cheap.  Get on down qhile u can, and dont mind the hippyish staffs attitudes lol.
