I just made my end of the year donations.

Some to SaveCAFishing.org to support the continuing MLPA legal battle.

Some to the other MLPA (Mooch Life Protection Account).

Who will join me?

-Allen

Ana and I are planning another Team in Training fundraising effort/marathon run to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in early 2012.  Gonna let her do the running this time since she took off most of last year being preggers.

 :smt003

Happy New Year to all!

Sincerely,

Jim

PIF done,

A question about the MLPA legal fight, I read about the current balance sheet for that in the WON,
What's the difference between a donation to SaveCAfishing, and one made to the PSO/ASA thru the KeepAmericaFishing site.  Looks to me like the SaveCAfishing is tax deductible and the other is not. Any difference other than that?

Yup.  Tax deductible and all funds go directly to the legal efforts.  It is currently the recommended channel for donations.  The receipt you get comes from The Ocean Access Protection Fund.

Allen,

As I was about to comment, but you beat me too it, I see on the paypal screen that the money does go to the Ocean Access Protection Fund.

Seems that nothing else has worked so far in the MLPA fight it's time to "put your money where your mouth is" and go the route of the courts.

Done,

I got enough "tax deductions" for this year already.  Will save this for 2012.
