Suck it Gomez, I'll clear my ears when I want to, cuz honey badger don't care!!

Been sick all week and baitnbeer been giving me grief on facebook that I wouldn't be able to clear my ears to dive today.

 

 

I said suck it gomez cuz I'm like the f'ing honey badger, and honey badger don't give a sh*t!!

 

Ears cleared fine, but energy was low so didn't paddle far and dove mostly shallow with a max depth of 37 feet.

Was with the Pond Poacher...great company but he don't dive so good without a weight belt!

 

Saw the Porkster out there as well...GREAT to see you out there bro!!

 

Had family coming over at 1, so was not picky and shot the first 10 decent rockies I saw.

Also shot my first two Rubberlips! Man, those things are BIG!   

Then I had promised my wife's little cuz I would try and bring home a MonkeyFace...paddled to my secret eel spot and had to time the sets to sneak into the honey hole where I had already shot two fat eels at....snuck in quick, dropped down, looked in the crack and there was the Monkey!

 

Nailed him right in the head and got the heck out of the surf zone!!

 

27 inches of Monkeyness, and 4.5 pounds after gutting.

 

Great day, beautiful weather, good friends, food for the family...don't get much better.

ps...the look on the liitle cousins face when I held the eel head and he ripped the skin off with the pliers was PRICELESS!!!!!!!!

Just went and double checked the RubberLips...one was 18 inches and the other is 18.5.

Sorry I couldn't have been there earlier to actually dive with you guys. Did the solo dive today and still had a great time, home about 3. Plenty of average rockies out there, I shot a few for the table tonight. The perch were everywhere today, those are the biggest perch I have ever seen!

I dont have any cool videos, but tonights dinner was fresh and good..

Looks like you had good vis and lots of fish out. Completely opposite on the PG side where I ended up shorediving this morning (didn't feel like kicking out of sws). I had to work pretty hard to scrounge up a full stringer of rockies. Everything was holed up pretty good. Did get a double on one shot, though

Thats 222 points for the big one. Holy Crap! I saw Honey Badger a while back and thats some funny stuff. The narrator kind of reminds me of Porky.
