Pat and I stopped for lunch this afternoon at Chef's new restaurant, The Cellar Door in Pacific Grove.  The place is beautifully decorated and the food is fantastic!

We sampled an appetizer of Calamari on a black bean-chipotle sauce, Asparagas soup with shaved Parmesan, Crab cakes, an incredible pot pie with pulled pork and artichoke, and topped it off with a molten chocolate cake with vanilla bean gelato.

The man has talent.  We'll be back often and recommed it highly.

Congratulations!  I can't wait to try it out. I was in the area last week but missed the lunch opening by a few days. I will definately eat there the next time I go down. I think we should try to gather a bunch of us together to try and kick off the opening.  Lets wait for the alcohal license first of course. :smt007
