I called HOBIE yesterday(11-28-2011) to ask about repairing or replacing my kayak. To my astonishment they were waiting for my call. Apparently they heard about it that week. For those who may have contributed in sharing my story with Hobie, my sincere gratitude.

When I receive my new kayak I will be looking forward to fishing on the salt with you...the members of NCKA!

Thanks again for all your support and well wishes.

And THANK YOU BIG TIME HOBIE!!!

Glad to hear Hobie is taking "extra" care for their customers.

Very Happy for you on getting a brand yak.  I know they've done the same during the 07 BH encounter. The owner of Sunrise Mountain Sports was proudly telling me of having the honor of swapping new hulls.
Makes me proud to own a Hobie.

Yep, Dan got a new Adventure from the ordeal.  I'm sure his munched hull is hanging on the wall in the Presidents office now.  Looks like Hobies VP will get a wall onriment as well now! hahah....

I wonder if there's a Hobie Museum for GWS encounters?   :smt003
