I made it out in 5 days, sleeping at TA/America in the truck, just like camping out without the fishing or anyone screaming "GET SOME" all night long... AZ and NM are so freaking awesome.... and the Sac and Fox Indian Nation in OK is a mind blower as well.  I saw a hundred creamed deer on the road all the way.
So my Mom does not have Alsheamers, just getting old and a bit cranky but its great getting back for a while. Im nut-deep in clearing out the storm debris, will be at it for a week or so, then work on the list they have for me and get some visiting and fishing in, Think Ill be back in early spring, I wasnt planning on it but me and Nancy sure do click and she so has her shit together PLUS she thinks the sun shines out me arse so this is just a deployment for the winter then back to Fairfax in time for Sturg/Steelie/Crab.
