Been there bro. It's weird to say and you probably don't believe it, but what's meant for you will come along. It all happens for a reason. Keep your chin up and fish on the weekdays with me!!!

That sucks!  I retired from a publicly held Fortune 500 company because people no longer mattered.  I was fortunate to have known and worked for the founders long before Wall Street dictated the behavior and decisions of the senior management staff.  Unfortunately, people no longer matter and are no longer part of the decision processes of many companies.  The 99% may not have figured out the right message but it's very clear that corporate America needs to change.  Hopefully you will land at a company with a heart.

Sorry to hear that, Kyle !   I'll keep my ears open at work if theres anything.  You have a CDL or anything ?  I talk to lots of drivers every day too, and many of the companies they work for hire frequently.

That sucks! At least they could tell you face to face. I was a stone mason for 15 years, and was kind of pushed out of the trade because I had integerity. Now all I see is people stacking rocks and lowering the standards of the trade. What a shame. The romans have structures standing today built thousands of years ago and now here, they cant build a wall that lasts more than a couple years......dissapointing. Good luck.

Sorry to hear that.  It's bad enough being laid off but telling you via courier letter?  That sucks big time.  I am a small business owner and understand the management side and the unfortunate need at times to let people go but to do it that way is inexcusable.

im sorry to hear that. I was too laid off 4 months ago. Its not looking great, im trying to remain positive. Thats chicken sh!t to do it by fedex. I was at the same company for 11 years, I guess us long time employees made too much, they know people are jobless and desperate and will work for cheap. Many employers are guilty of contributing to this mess. Atleast they did it in person though, and gave me a severance, but it doesnt last long.

Honestly I never realized how bad things are out here, until 4 months ago when I became part of it. I had big plans of endless days of fishing/diving, but I found myself doing less of it. Its tough on you after a while, I wont lie. But try and stay positive, look for a job everyday, every night! And despite what anyone says, there aint sh!t wrong with having a little "hope" mixed in there.

I wish the best for you with a quick turn around!
