I  think Josh was right.   go with the traditional spices that make Pumpkin pie what it is.   I know a friend who tosses in a stick of cinnamon  into the secondary fermentation.   You'll want to keep it on the sweet side, so I'd suggest a yeast strain with a low attenuation.   no more than a lb of malted wheat if doing a partial mash.  Fuggles  /  Sterling /  Golding or Williamette  all good choices for hops
Raspberry,,, what ?    ya makin soda or beer ? :smt002     fun to experiment, but... there's a reason raspberry flavored beer isn't on most store shelves.
Good luck with that if you decide to try it.   I started brewing about 20 years ago.  I gotta warn you now. It's a hobby that can get out of control.
This is my latest brewery... a half barrel system.    Maybe in  a few more years...a full barrel.  :smt044

I brew   5 gallons about every 25 days or so.  Couldn't live without it.  It actually is refreshing and healthful, just like the beer commercials on T.V. claim for stuff that isn't at all. Always I.P.A. for me.
Googled pumpkin homebrew for a ton of tips.
