a bass that eats ducks.   spend enough time in big bass waters and youll see it multiple times.
Happened last year at the park in front of a crowd. women screamed and men cheered.
good times
not sure what I like best about that photo.
the doublechin lift or the victorious agent still on the hook.

baby duck was the case at the park. muther duck had 11 SPLASH! (screaming/cheering) then there were 10. not that unusual of an event in the early summer. Lots of things get blasted on the surface.
I think that the "frog bite" isnt just that but a "small creature" bite when things warm up.
Im hoping to witness a mouse, mink, or baby otter get mauled this year.

He's right, but that's a private lake in Bakersfield.  I have a friend who lives there with some paddle boats.  Lots of golf courses and housing places have huge largemouth.

A little trivia - according to page-a-day calendars and incrediblefishingstories.com

The world-record largemouth bass might have been caught in Georgia, but twenty-two of the top 25 all-time heaviest bass were caught in California lakes. And, except for the Georgia bass, all top-ten record bass were California grown. Bass number eleven and twenty-five were caught in Florida.

Isn't it so nice of the DFG to plant lakes with food that big bass love to eat (read: trout). :smt044
