My girlfriend wasn't a big fan of me fishing all the time until I whipped this up for her.  She loves it and so does my family.  Years ago I met a elderly asian man bank fishing at Quarry Lakes and he hooked me up with this recipe. 

Ingredients: 
1/2 c. Sake
1 trout - filleted
Crushed ginger (big pieces for easy removal)

1-2 TBS of really hot cooking oil
Soy sauce
Spicy vinegar (the one with chillis marinating in it - optional)

In a microwave safe container, lay the fillets flat and put ginger on top and pour the sake over the trout.  Cover the container and cook for 7 minutes or until cooked. 

Next, remove the fillets from the container and discard the sake and ginger.  It should be smelling really good right about now.  Place the fillets on a plate and heat up the oil in a pan until it's really hot.  Pour the oil over the fish, add a little soy sauce and spicy vinegar, and enjoy.

That sounds really good.  I usually marinade mine with Trader Joes Soyaki and then barbecue.  Comes out pretty good.

Wish I could try this but the problem is that I don't catch trout big enough to fillet. :smt011  :smt044
