Got to the ramp before O Dark 30 was soon joined by Glynn and after I headed out Craig,Camron and Luker Dave showed up. Little breezy in the morning no fish till I crossed the lake and stated trolling in 30fow I was marking fish and stated catching catching smallies with a few LMB in the mix. After a couple of hours the wind died and the Steelies went on the bite with small boils of feeding on the surface nothing too big but these fish are balls out and I think I went 4 for 7 while still getting smallies and LMB in the mix it was a fun day, hot lure by far was the BB Shadrap 5 in Shad pattern. By the time I paddled for the ramp it was smoking hot and FAC. There was tons of shad eveywhere as soon as the water cools a little it's going to be crazy surface action hope I'm there. Oh yea I caught a small crappie too but no pic so it diddn't happen. All fish released except 1 bleeder for dinner

It was a great day on the water Mike. I tried a lot of different things and nothing worked for me. the little brok-back shad rap you and Dave had just killed it. Im learning Lake Sonoma little by little. I hadnt seen Cam in a long time so that made my day. I did manage to take out a couple dozen cones on Dry Creek though. :smt003 Great sunrise pic Mikey!

good seeing craig, mike and glyn and meeting david, was my first time in the kayak in two months, felt good, my day was pretty slow, ended up with one 15.25in smallie, picked up a BB shad rap on the way home so hopefully if i get another chance to get back on the water i hope to have a day like mike and david, they were on fire yesterday, all in all, a great day, cameron
