Was wondering if anyone could tell me what I may need to fish the MTN lakes(size,type,ect) Don't have a kayak yet but looking for a great deal new or used. I would be using my truck to carry it in.

Welcome aboard Gadabout.  I'm not familiar with that lake but I'm sure someone here will chime in and give you some info.

Your best bet is the paddle a few different kayaks and find something that suits your needs. There is a local Kayak shop in Lodi called the Headwaters kayak shop. They are also close to Lodi lake where you could try out different kayaks. Welcome to the group.
