That might just be my favorite post ever.
    As for the "Make everyday a costal cleanup day" idea, I like it. But how about we take all these drug dealing, violent, losers that are overcrowding our prison systems out there to take care of the mess for about 18 hours a day until all that stuff is gone? Man I hope it doesnt come to that, but man, great reply Scott!

That was my initial reaction as well Scott....trash hopping instead of paddy hopping.  I think the majority of it will wind up un the trash vortex, everything else wind up riding the shelf currents breaking up the major debris fields.  We'll see some but not like the "experts" are predicting.

Why is it, that foreign trash always finds its way to the USA? That is how this country was started. The religious freaks at the time in England were sent here. And every walk of life that was different left to come here, because the 13 colonies were essentially a bannishment for the socially unjust. Fast forward a few generations, here we are! We are the direct descendants of people that were off kilter and were sent here. It is only fitting, that the leftover from the tsunami head this way. Call it a return on investment. We, the global genetic rejects, dropped two nuclear bombs on them, and have been bank rolling them ever since. They are pressed for space over there, and we have Nevada! This hole thing is just a conspiracy! They didnt have anywhere to put the trash, so they put it on a bee line to us to deal with! Just thinkin out loud, but there may be some cool stuff that shows up. But will they make us buy another three foot license to collect the debris.
