I doubt he was wearing a life jacket. The Coast Guard would have found him / recovered his floating body.

The more we are seen out there, the more Kayaks will be out there... If you see a 'Yaker out there with No PFD please Beg them to get one. (regardless of experience level. Too much sadness and death can bring on Government regulation in a sport like ours. Needless grief for the family left behind. Sledge got it RIGHT and they both were there @ Tiki with us! Hope He is found soon and not by kids on a beach... RIP
