I just watched North American Fisherman and they where catching big bass on big trout swimbaits, kinda got me pumped for loch lomond.

Mol, what time are you going to get there?

Kickfish,  I just may be up for San Luis on Saturday morning.  Let me check with my 2nd paddler.  Worse case, I'll paddle the barge solo.  I'll confirm later this afternoon.

All right Ken.  Let's go to the forebay at San Luis in the morning.  I probably won't be there at 6:00 like you want to be, but I'll get there.  Look for you on channel 69?  I'll PM you my phone number.

My second won't be there, so I'm paddling solo, unless someone wants to go along for the ride.

Wind forecast looks very light.  Wanna try the main lake?

I have fish the main lake a few times and still have not gotten a fish there.

Big lake and too many places to hide.  Fore bay fish may be smaller.  But, the landlock record for Cal. came from there.

See you in the morning.

All right.  Forebay it is.  I got a PM from Bill.  He may join us and paddle my yak for me while I fish ... um, I mean he might provide us the pleasure of his company.

Cool deal Sean.  We need to get up there early in april when we can have an Ab grab and striper weekend.  We'll be looking for their southern cousins this weekend on the forebay.

Coyote Bait reports ... "THE FOREBAY IS PRETTY MUDDY RIGH NOW BUT ANGLERS FISHING NEAR INCOMING WATER WITH SHAD AND MUDSUCKERS HAVE BEEN SCORING ON FISH UP TO 30 POUNDS."

Bill, I think we'll stop by Coyote and pick up some shad on the way.  30 pounds?  Whoa!!!!
