Black and silver J-9 or 11. Firetiger works well too. Some guys drift just a power worm behind them and do great, no weight, no dodger. I like fly fishing with green wooly buggers too. They are hecka fun to fight on a 5/6 flyrod. I heard from a good source, a meal worm threaded on a #8 baithook is deadly too. I usually go with just the rapalas, and once in a while I will troll a panther martin spinner.

Hot Steel Rapalas will work at Amador.  You can also rig and troll with 3" grubs, usually white works well there

Might have to join you if the weather is better this time. I was with you last time and didn't even get on the water. Was planning on fishing all day Sunday but ended up pulling camp at 3am before I got stuck in all the mud :smt044. . Hopefully we get a lull in the the rains and can land those mutant fish!

Kat and I usually do something for Armistice Day (Veterans Day), so weather and money permitting we will be there.

Ryan

Kat just reminded me she just gives me a gift on Veterans Day... so maybe this is my gift.

This could happen.  I am still smarting from a skunk there last year.  Will mark it on the calendar!

Going to have to cancel due to weather  :smt012  With it raining all day Friday, that camp is going to be a big mud pit.  Thinking of going crabbing or maybe even hit SWS.  Will find another weekend to do this trip ;)

Biggest  trout I ever caught was from there troling a worm behind a group of small Sep flashers. If I can dodge my responsibilities I'll try and get there Sunday.
