Hey all!  I know this is a little out of the way of NorCal, but figured I'd put it up here anyway.  So, I'll be launching out of Spooner's Cove (Montana de Oro State Park) along with another local here around 0630, and we'll be targeting Lingcod and rockfish (that, and hoping for a 'but or WSB).  For those of you who don't know that area, it's south of Morro Bay off of the 1/101.  If anyone's in the area and available tomorrow morning, I'm sure we'd welcome the company. - Will

Have you fished the windmill lately?

Actually, I haven't launched at the windmill at all before.  I'd like to get out there as soon as my cart is built (or bought) as it looks a lot easier a launch and landing than the area around the pier (I've had a yard sale there before).  Last week was a bit choppy in that area because of the weather systems we've had pass through, but things are looking up for about a few days (which have already passed).  I love to fish Mouse Reef (nice cabbies out there), but that area is pretty dangerous I've noticed, and I'm not that experienced yet...  and that green buoy is a long way from shore to be learning lessons around.  Wish me luck tomorrow! - Will
