Howe Ave., American River, Sacto. 10/9/11

Caught a couple, today. 1 at 7:00 am, lost one at 9:00 am and finished off with one at 12:30 pm. Persistents payoff.  Not many people fishing today, had the area behind Sac State to myself.  The fish weren't really active today in regards to surfacing but there were allot of big ones coming up.  I kept saying "one more pass".  The fish were caught on the same setup as mentioned in Sat. post. one jack and one hen about 8-10 pounds.

WTG Jim! I hope Sonny caught his limit as well. Thanks for the report bro.

It was nice to see you on the river today, and yesterday and the day before that...   You fish that stretch so much I have started using you as a landmark.  Way to go on the limit.  My flatfish game has been off this week.  I need to pay closer attention to what you are doing.
