Right now Thursday looks like a good calm day in the reports and I was curious if anyone is going out? If not Moss maybe halibut out of Del Monte beach?

Sounds like an early start is important at Moss from what I see and the tides will be good if we make it in at about 12. The tide will just be at its peak and won't be flowing much. So how about 615 right when we can see?

I knew this would happen. I had a guy with a boat who had offered to take me out but he didn't call me. Just called me and said we'll go out Thursday. Sorry guys I have to join the enemy with the PB crew. Hopefully I'll see you guys out there.

Thursday Moss 6:15 sounds good to me, will have to check the weather as we get along in the week, rain won't stop me, wind and waves will.

Swell is supposed to be less Thurs, 5-7 ft 13 sec, today it was predicted to be 11-13 at 13 sec but the buoy had it at 14.4 at 16 sec at launch time this a.m..  If someone launched this a.m. at Moss, and it wasn't extreme, then it gives me hope for tomorrow.

Tom and Taylor31........any interest in going out of Del Monte instead?   That is my first choice.  But, if you want Moss, I will probably give it a look with you in the AM.

I think I'll check out Moss about 6, tho it'll be dark, if it's real bad it should be obvious, if it's bad, I'll head to Del Monte. I never thought of going out of there for salmon but I've heard radio chatter about the Soldier's Club (some say "Officer's Club", I guess they're talking about the same building).  Might take a little longer to paddle to deep water, but the come back matches the expected wind shift late tomorrow morning.  I just threw all my halibut stuff out of my tackle bag, maybe I ought to put a couple rigs back in for when Pat hooks up a flattie while fishing for salmon.

Yeah.  I saw those guys at soldier's club when I was scanning from shore.  Too bad it isn't actually there any more.  A lot easier to reference when there is a bldg to look at!  Regardless, it is beyond my paddling....more than 6 miles out.

I haven't found any reports from Moss.

I will head for moss too if you are.  Del Monte looks nicer.  No birds or fish at either......too funny....and we are going looking!
