Picked up a 2012 revo 13( wife felt bad that i didnt make it to RBC, all loaded up at 2:30am Sat and car would not start :smt011 My other car was being borrowed by my brother in law) Took it out for a test run at Big Break. I wouldn't say its easier than paddling but I sure did coverd more distance. So the Pro angler is next, plan to pick one up this coming weekend once I figure out the trailer situation( cant decide whether to get single or double kayak trailer Because i can see myself getting the AI and dont want to get another trailer)

Congrats on your new ride bro. I wonder if there's a big difference between the 08
and the 2012.

Gino, it's a beauty. You'll enjoy it. Wait till you see and experience all its features and advantages. And trust me, after the PA is the AI. And then?????
Congratulations. I'm very happy for you.

Jedmo

correct me if I'm wrong on this one guys, but from '08-'011 difference is the steering handle, in-hull floatation, and pedal strap.  The '012 has the all that plus the midship handle.. i think.  Nothing super major.

TY kuya D! I should be able to go out to the wsb hunting ground with you next time :smt002. Pern dont really know much info about the 08-11, for the 12 the guy said that they basically put the guide on the mirage drive so it slide in.

Oh yeah forgot about that one, you basically toss the drive in and it just locks into place.. nifty.

You can tell a guy's excited when the first thing he does is post 3 pics of his new yak hanging upside down in a dark garage.  :smt002

J/K,

And excited you should be,,,,,Congrats on the new boat,

From the rest of your post, (PA+ AI), I'd recommend getting the bigger trailer,

Congrads on your new Revo!!!  :smt003  You sure like Hobies, getting the PA and AI  :smt044  I'm interested in a trailer as well, but having a hard time figuring out what I want.  Interested in seeing what you come up with!  Similarly I want an AI next year, but for now just want to tow two boats, Revo and Outback.
