Hi now that I have the new yak I want to get out on the water Im an experienced fisherman but a newbie to the yak.
Ive been out enough times to be comfortable on lakes and im hoping someone will let me tag along on the bay somewhere and teach me a thing or two. Im not looking for breaking water or nasty wind maybee a good halibut drfit or something to that efect.
If anyone is interested let me know looking for this weekend but I can go during the week as well after 9am.

if the rain stops and the bay water clears, there will likely be a group expedition out of oyster point, ostensibly in search of halibut.  by early may it should be doable.

Black Point is totally doable also.

You can join us on Saturday if you'd like. It's not the 3 mile paddle out like The Honey Hole is. If the conditions get ugly it's a quick paddle back into the protection of the river entrance.
