Drove up to Caples with A group of family members including my four uncles, for what turned out to be an excellent trip..( Not fishing wise) They were geared up for the D zone opening buck hunt.I was geared with kayaks and lotso beer. :smt004... Fished the entire lake on Saturday only catching one fish on the troll near were the little creek enters the lake on the far side..there were lots of boats trolling the same area and most of them hooking up numerous times. :smt009.. I think the were using sling blades. Any way what A great way to spend the weekend!... Hooked up with an Ncka buddie ZILLA that cooked us A screaming porkchop dinner one night.......No bucks and one fish. No on the water pics as I watched my pentax optio WP flutter down into the crystal clear water in around forty feet. :smt009

Andy, how come you didn't dive for your camera?  Other than the water had to be freezing cold, high altitude lungs, etc.  :smt003

Drove past you guys Saturday.
Saw Zilla on the side of the road on 88 and stopped to say hi (and bum a beer).
Anyone get a shot?
