So im outside painting my house, when i hear the loudest most spooky noise i have ever heard. My windows are ratteling, ground vibrating. I look up in between my house and the neighbors, and see some crazy ass fully armed F15 war jet ripping by all inverted, he loops and throttles it hard(even louder now) and flips the fastest, tighest u turn ever seen. The house is vibrating now, im freaked out, my kid is crying and the noise continues. I run from between the house, so i can see past my neighbors house. The jet circles, Fing LOW, i can see details on the wings. I grab my kid, whos crapped her diaper by now, run to the far side of my yard, look up past my neighbors 2 story, the jet throttles again, shoots straight Fing up, then i see this little itty bitty low flying plane crest my neighbors house, the jet shoots straight up (louder now), and does some kind of crazy stall, and quietly falls flat right next to this itty bitty civilan plane and just QUIETLY glides right Fing next to the itty bitty plane, he looking at the dude eye to eye, now there directly above my house, low as hell. Then BOOM, the jet explodes with throttle (my kids speachless with fear now) swoops up, all the way around (sideways) and throttles again and flys right in Fing front of this itty bitty plane, he now made it clear this is no Fing joke. So he forces him right, out over the ocean in capitola. 5 minutes later, the noise fades. 10 minutes later, i hear a massive THROTTLE EXPLOSION, MASSIVE. I look up and see the jet BLUR by headed to the south bay from the ocean. I thought forsure he was gonna shoot him down over the water, this all happened right above the house very low. I change my kids diaper, my diaper and head in to investigate. I just now heard obama was in the local skies and this clown was flying in the CLOSED airspace, too close to airforce one, with the prez inside.

Ive never heard such a noise, its a Blue Angels jet on steroids. This mofo meant business, and I would love to have seen the reaction on that itty bittys planes pilot.

Anyone see or here this sh!t go down?

(please excuse typos, im on a ipod)

They really are watching!

I thought FAA had regs on how low planes can fly over residential zones? *shrugs* esp. aircraft with jet turbine engines.. oh well *sigh* my navy days  :smt005

the throttle explosion you heard must have been the "sonic boom" breaking the sound barrier

I saw one of the pres's 747's on approach to Beale earlier today over my house. I've been buzzed by navy and Air Force jets a lot of times. I can say it is way cool and way loud. Also got buzzed by "Spooky" up in the Owens valley. That looked pretty wicked. Had Cobra gunships buzz my goose decoys up there once too. I could see the reaction on the pilots face when he saw they were decoys and I sat up to look. That military hardware is too cool.

Watching the Blue Angels from a boat by Alcatraz was one of the most exciting things I have ever seen. One jet came in low almost stalling right over our heads , turned and goosed it. I could feel my heart quivering man. Sorry about the baby freaking Brent but HEY, thats the real stuff isnt it?

yeah, thats the real stuff! it really was cool. This guy was more then just buzzed I'd say, with the prez in the air i guess things get real serious real quick huh. He was forced out over the water and far away :) Those aircraft are really amazing. I cant imagine what a bunch of these things sound like above you in a full war zone, i imagine its pretty scary stuff.

I volunteer for the Salinas Airshow every year and get to go behind the scenes..The most exhilarating feeling is when those jets take off yards from where your standing, rumbling thru your body....... The power and maneuverability of the jets is amazing wish I could have experienced that one!

I have a neighbor who came from Lebanon and ran into him at an airshow.  He said growing up he would see the plane, hear the sonic boom, then bombs would blow up.  You could see his body tense up every time a jet made a sound.  Super cool patriotic guy, but I guess muscle memory takes over.

I agree, that feeling in the body from the rumble of the jets is cool.  Keeps me going to airshows for the feeling

There is an Israeli girl here at my work (super hot, BTW) who is the same way. She HATES the airshow here.

Me too!!!  We had just cruised out in a sailboat, wondering where they were, and they converged from all points, coming in low and fast from outta nowhere, and it just so happened we were right near the point they met before rocketing straight up and out of sight again.  Made my knees weak.  They did a few sharp turns rigt above us so close you could make out the pilots easily.
