hey, nice report.

I'm just getting into the kayak game here, and would love to head your direction for some kayak flyfishing.  I'm in Santa Cruz, and so far the places I've fished are a bit on the deep side (so I bring the usual other gear too).  Mostly I flyfish the beaches for perch up here.  Send me a PM if you'd like to hook up sometime.

Great report. How far do you let those clausers sink? Using a shooting head, 8 or 9 wt? And do you just hit the open spots between the kelp? Many thanks.
