I see that the AR is really kicking out the salmon. Why is there no reports in the Rio Vista area around the Powerlines? I would think the salmon would have to pass that way or am I a month behind on the run?

Most folks go a little more north like the mouth of the Sacramento instead of the power lines. Any way there are some reports of salmon from there but they are few. Waiting for a new bunch to show up. A Couple of the yakers have hooked up by Isleton. Go give it a try.

It is pretty wide and can get blown out there. Heading in to the shippng channel or the old sac funnels them down and keeps you out of the wind.

reelfish and Lost Mojo thanks so much for the reply. The answers were what I had expected. It is between runs and yes it is quite open at that location. I have fished the Power Lines in a PB before but have not been there with a Yak. I am still learning the techniques of the Yak in Lakes but will be stepping up to moving rivers and the salt soon.  Thanks again    Chuck
