A friend and his brother are shark diving in Guadalupe and got some pretty cool pics.  But I couldn't help wonder if it's a good idea to acclimate GWS's to humans. 

Discuss.

I agree! I honestly don't care so much what they do with the Guadalupe island sharks it's the local ones that I'm worried about.  :smt003

Those shark researchers at Ano Nuevo aren't doing us any favors by hand feeding the sharks fish to keep them around the boat. 

I've also read that bear book and it kinda puts a damper on backpacking for a couple of years. (I still went but I didn't sleep very well at all)

I know it's hard to research sharks without bait but what kind of useful data can you collect by acclimating them to people anyways?
