Mendo Spearo-ing this weekend 9/10 or 9/11?

I've been sitting in classes and technical presentations all week and will be chomping at the bit to get in the water this weekend.  I'll be diving somewhere between Elk and Caspar (mendo area) either or saturday or sunday, if anyone's interested in joining me.  Definitely a yak dive.  Location dependent on conditions.

If I have to listen to one more geek I'm gonna commit random acts of geek carnage.

I'm back from Alaska.  This weekend sounds pretty good. 

How is the algae bloom in your area.  I dived Pt Arena on the 28.  Between the surfing swell and 1 ft vis.  we didn't even see an ab.  Talked to divers who dived Sonoma last weekend.  Lots of dead abs and 1-2 ft vis.

Hey Doug,  How was your trip?  Must have been awesome.

I'm not around Fort Bragg right now, but that algae bloom didn't get up that far.  When I left Mendo last Friday, the viz was decent.

Wanna try Elk?  Somewhere around that spot where we fished last time?
